DCCL Disposable Curtains Proven to inhibit the Growth of MRSA - FACT!
We understand the importance of infection prevention and control within the healthcare sector. With healthcare associated infections (HCAI’s) on the increase, hospitals are under pressure to reduce rates of MRSA year on year.
Working closely with Campden BRI, it has been proven that our disposable curtains inhibit the growth of MRSA. The research shows that in no uncertain terms that DCCL disposable curtains that have been treated with a residual biocide prevents the growth of MRSA. Testing was also done on an untreated disposable curtain, where the results proved that it offered no protection and did not kill MRSA.
What sets us apart from the rest is the willingness to ‘put our necks on the line’ and go further by testing used curtains. Working closely with one of our valued customers, we had their 6 month old used curtains tested for the superbug MRSA. Again, the tests came back, proving that DCCL curtains prevents the survival of MRSA and assurance can now be given to staff and infection control specialists regarding DCCL disposable curtains and our claims.
